Couple sharing a quiet, happy moment together on their wedding day

Our story

Two maps, one road

We met as strangers sharing a timetable and have been planning routes together ever since. The coast where we'll marry is the place we keep coming back to.

  1. 2019

    A missed ferry

Two travellers, one delayed crossing and a long afternoon swapping notes on where to go next.

  2. 2022

    A shared map

Separate trips became one itinerary, sketched out in pencil on a wrinkled paper map we still keep.

  3. 2025

    A question at sunrise

On a quiet trail above the sea, Julian asked. Maren said yes before he finished the sentence.

Travel & stay

Getting there

The coast is easiest to reach by train once you land. We've kept the logistics simple so you can enjoy the trip.

  • Fly

Genoa and Pisa are the closest international airports. Both link to the coastal rail line.

  • Train & shuttle

Regional trains run along the villages. On Friday and Saturday, shuttles meet guests at the station.

  • Stay

We're holding rooms at a few family-run guesthouses nearby. Booking details arrive with your RSVP confirmation.

Questions

Good to know

The little things guests usually ask. If something's missing, add it to the notes in your reply.

Are children welcome?

Yes, very much so. Let us know how many little ones are coming and we'll set a kids' table with its own menu.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Your invitation lists everyone included. If you'd like to ask about a guest, just mention it in the notes and we'll get back to you.

Is there a gift registry?

Your company on the coast is the gift. If you'd still like to give something, a contribution toward our next journey would make us very happy.

What if it rains?

The garden has a covered loggia. The ceremony and dinner will move under it, so the plans stay the same either way.

What language is the ceremony in?

The ceremony will be in English, with a few readings in Italian and printed translations on every seat.

Can we take photos?

We're asking for an unplugged ceremony, so please keep phones away during the vows. After that, snap away.
